Mask not showing up on mobile

Hi guys,

I have an issue where I have put masks on images, and it works and is visible on desktop/mobile view but when I check it on my actual mobile the images don’t show. The masks are custom shapes, but I have also tested with the regular shapes elementor provide and these don’t work either.

Any one have a similar issue?

I’ve tried clearing all my cache, images and files, incognito window, have a SVG support plugin running, forcing all items to run through https, I’m stumped ;)

I have the same issue.

Mask works fine on desktop but, on mobile, the entire image does not show - mask and all.

Hi Sean, I learned that running the tool in Elementor to ‘Update URL’s” works.  Simply enter your base URL as http://www.yoursite.com then in the next box enter httpS://www.yoursite.com and your svg masks will update to use SSL in their file path.  I’ve used this a few times now and it fixes it each time :)

Hi, I tried the link you suggested and it said “0 rows effected” when I added the s and clicked replace URL. After doing all the steps listed there, my site still does not have a mask when I view it live from any other device (mobile or desktop). I’m sorry to bother you, I’m very new to making websites and I appreciate all the help you can give.

You mentioned SSL, my site does not have an SSL certificate, is that something I need for this to work?

Yes, you do need an SSL certificate o your domain. It’s a very necessary thing for all websites these days as well for many reasons (including SEO, security etc).
