Custom CSS Classes not working

I’m new to Elementor and don’t have Pro yet. I’m trying to use the Custom CSS Classes field to name my element, but when I do and click “update,” it doesn’t show up in the code when I inspect the page on Chrome. What am I doing wrong?

As I can’t see the code, I have to ask:

Class names/IDs/other selectors spelt or laid out correctly? Period (.) in front of class names?
Semicolons present where they’re supposed to be?

Please recheck the class Name

Should not use (.) In the element CSS class Name in the CSS Classes field of Elementor Advance settings tab.

There is no (.) in the class name. The class name is simply “calendar” all lowercase.

Would you like to share the code with us?

just make sure you
Cache issue, server and page level
check for memory support for your site
you should be able to update it.
